The M.B.T. Music Experience Live Band was one of the first bands to be booked at the new MGM Casino in Springfield, Massachusetts. In 2018 Michelle was a headlining artist for the MGM Summer Concert Series and the casino’s first VIP New Years Eve party. As a highly sought-after vocal performer in this region, Michelle and her band have not only headlined the MGM’s summer concert series but also Springfield’s Faith Festival, Festival of Trees, the BID’s Annual Jam Fest, Connecticut's premier Arts & Ideas Festival, and the legendary Apollo Music Café! The MBT Music Experience Live Band has provided entertainment for several corporate events including Mayor Dominic Sarno’s Inaugural Ball (2 times), Baystate Hospital Annual Noble Ball (3 times), R.I.A. House Annual Gala, Peabody Essex Museum Art Exhibit, and others.

Michelle Brooks-Thompson delivers two incredible distinct one-woman tribute shows with her LIVE 9-piece Band, under the musical direction of Berklee College of Music Ensembles Professor, Mark Copeland. Each 90-minute high-energy concert features the hit songs of Whitney Houston and Celine Dion together, and another show called the Iconic Female Voices Tribute Show. This show features the hit songs of Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Chaka Khan, Tina Turner, Gladys Knight, Patti Labelle, Natalie Cole, and other female powerhouse vocalists! Both are unforgettable concerts that pay homage to the timeless music of many voices that we love, with note for note renditions, accented with Michelle’s powerful signature sound & soaring vocals!
